Our founder Glen Pate (CUB Clydesdale Team) started this group beginning with a small notice in the Weekly Times asking to meet at Bendigo Showgrounds to discuss the future of the traditional delivery horse as the history and heritage was being lost by the decline of exhibitors participating at agriculture shows througout the state.

An overwhelming number of interested people wanting to preserve the history and traditon attended this meeting and the group was formed.

Our group aims to preserve the history and heritage of the Tradesman and Delivery Horse by way of supporting our state agriculture shows with our members displaying their horses, harness & vehicles, holding regular educational weekends around the state to give people a broader knowledge of horse drawn vehicles, learning to drive and educating our children on how horse drawn vehicles where very much part of life in the last century.  

The Past 12 Months have seen... .

The continuation of our Victorian Tradesman’s & Delivery Championships, where the Champions from the 5 hub shows come together to fight it out for the titles of :-

• Pauline Thill Memorial Champion Turnout
• Don Hewlett Memorial Champion Junior Driver
• VTDHG Inc Champion Delivery Horse

1. Running of a very successful Select Horse, Harness & Vehicle Sale
2. Continue to have our successful Educational & Hands on Driving Weekends.
3. The building of a strong membership base and a dedicated committee working to achieve our committed goals & objectives.
